Which Elleebana system should you choose for your salon? Important chemistry distinction: Profusion is described as TGA-free; BRIK & PEARL is not, because Bond Flex contains ammonium thioglycolate. Cysteamine is also a chemical reducing agent. No formula makes overprocessing impossible. Consultation, hair history, correct placement and the current protocol matter more than calling one product universally “gentle” or “strong”.
Which should you consider if you mainly lift lashes?
One Shot is a practical choice if you know its established lash-lift workflow and prefer sachets. Profusion may appeal if you want a cysteamine-based system and might also introduce brow lamination. BRIK & PEARL offers a different formula and bottle format, with approved options for artists trained in newer application methods. Do not transfer timings or lotion placement between systems.
Which system suits a salon offering brow lamination?
Choose a product whose current manufacturer protocol specifically covers brows. Profusion and BRIK & PEARL both cover professional lash and brow services. Compare your training, the application method, packaging and how quickly your salon uses opened product. One Shot should not be treated as a brow system by adapting its lash-lift instructions.
What about Korean-inspired or glueless lash lifting?
“Korean lash lift” describes a technique, not a promise that any lifting lotion can be used in the same way. Elleebana’s BRIK & PEARL Bond Flex guidance lists traditional, freestyle, glueless and approved Korean-inspired techniques. Your shield selection, product placement and processing plan still need to match the method and current training. Ask an Elleebana trainer before changing techniques or combining products.
How I would choose for my salon
- Start with your service menu. If you offer brows as well as lashes, compare the two systems approved for both.
- Assess each client. Consider hair strength, texture, porosity, density and previous chemical treatments.
- Use the protocol you have trained in. Follow that system’s current consultation, patch-testing, placement and processing instructions.
- Match packaging to your appointment volume. One Shot and Profusion use sachets. BRIK & PEARL uses multi-use bottles with storage and period-after-opening rules. Consider how much you can use within the permitted period.
- Get technical support when unsure. A comparison article is not a processing chart for an individual client.
Common questions
Can I use One Shot on brows?
No. Elleebana One Shot is formulated and taught for lash lifting, not brow lamination. In a lash lift, the lotion is applied to lashes on a shield; brow lamination brings the solution much closer to facial skin. One Shot has a fast-acting, lash-specific formula and processing protocol. Applying it to brows can irritate the skin and overprocess brow hairs, leaving them dry or brittle. Its pH and strength are selected for lashes, so do not adapt the lash timings for brows. Choose a system with current brow-lamination instructions, such as Elleeplex Profusion or BRIK & PEARL, and follow its training and patch-testing guidance. Brow-approved products still require careful skin assessment and application.
Is Profusion the same as BRIK & PEARL?
No. Profusion uses cysteamine HCl and is described by Elleebana as TGA-free. BRIK & PEARL Bond Flex combines cysteamine HCl and ammonium thioglycolate. Packaging and approved methods differ too.
Can I use the same processing time for all three?
No. Follow the current instructions for the exact product and technique, then assess the client’s natural hair. This article helps you choose a system; it does not replace technical training.
Which is best for resistant lashes?
